The Delta Sigma Theta Jabberwock is more than a fundraiser. It is a program that spans over a period of nine months featuring a plethora of cultural, educational, and social opportunities for the teen-ager participants comparable to a rites of passage experience, culminating in an evening of absolute sophisticated elegance. Additionally, the goal of the sorority is to also provide the young ladies and gentlemen (the escorts) who participate in Jabberwock the opportunity to make life-long friends, positive relationships are developed during weekly rehearsals in preparation for the cotillion.
This year, the Jabberwock participants were educated on a variety of educational topics including self-esteem, etiquette, physical and mental health, public speaking and financial fortitude.
